Incline block conveyors

Two jobs, one machine, one handling step
Most plants have a point where product has to be lifted — out of a bin or off the floor and up into a grinder, mixer or hopper. That lift is usually a separate conveyor, and the metal detection is usually somewhere else again.
Combining them removes a transfer point. Fewer transfers mean less product damage, less spillage to clean up, less floor space taken and one less machine to maintain. It also means the contamination is found before it reaches the grinder rather than after, which is the difference between rejecting a batch and replacing a set of blades.
Detection before the grinder is worth more than detection after it. A piece of metal that reaches a grinder damages the machine, contaminates everything downstream of it and turns one rejected block into a rejected batch. Inspecting on the incline catches it while it is still a single, removable item.
What it handles
Frozen blocks
Frozen meat and fish blocks fed to a grinder or block flaker. The cleats hold the block on the incline instead of letting it slide back.
Mince and trim
Minced product, trim and offcuts being elevated to a mixer, filler or weighing station.
Bulk and loose product
Loose product that would roll or slide on a flat belt — whole cuts, vegetables, portions and frozen goods.

Built to the plant, not to a standard length
The whole point of an incline conveyor is that it has to reach a specific machine at a specific height. We build the frame to your discharge height, incline angle, belt width and cleat spacing — and we build it in our own workshop, so a change to the layout is a drawing revision rather than a new supplier.
